Northwood Varsity Timberwolves defeated Sage Hill 14-0 on Thursday as four pitchers combined to throw a shutout.  Paul Grossman started the game for Northwood Varsity Timberwolves. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out three and walking one  
 

Alex Norman struck out Polotta to finish off the game.

Northwood Varsity Timberwolves secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the third inning.  Kadan Chan, Paul Grossman, Andres Hernandez, Kai Mo, Adam Harper, and  Jordan Kim powered the big inning with RBIs.

Northwood Varsity Timberwolves fired up the offense in the second inning.  Hernandez drew a walk, scoring one run.

Northwood Varsity Timberwolves scored ten runs in the third inning.  Northwood Varsity Timberwolves batters contributing to the big inning included Chan, Grossman, Hernandez, Mo, Harper, and  Kim, all driving in runs in the inning.

One bright spot for Sage Hill was a single by #12 in the fifth inning.

Casey Euper took the win for Northwood Varsity Timberwolves. The southpaw went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out five and walking one.  Spencer Collins-Williams and Norman entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Polotta took the loss for Sage Hill. The hurler went two and a third innings, allowing 12 runs on seven hits.

Northwood Varsity Timberwolves hit one home run on the day. Mike Lopez had a homer in the seventh inning.

Kim led Northwood Varsity Timberwolves with two hits in two at bats.

#12 went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Sage Hill in hits.
